The Austin Air Immunity Machine Air Purifier features a powerful blend of four advanced granular filtration materials: standard activated carbon, enhanced (impregnated) carbon, natural zeolite, and chemically treated zeolite. This multi-layered adsorption system is designed to tackle a wide array of airborne contaminants from common VOCs, odors, and household chemicals to more persistent pollutants like formaldehyde, ammonia, sulfur-based compounds, and toxic gases that many purifiers fail to catch.

By combining both traditional and chemically fortified filtration media, the Immunity Machine delivers broad-spectrum protection focused on reducing the toxins that most impact immune function. It’s one of the most comprehensive and capable air purification systems available today.

Military Grade Gas and Virus Filtration

Originally developed for the British military as protection against chemical attacks, HEGA (High Efficiency Gas Adsorption) is a specialized carbon cloth known for its extremely high surface area and adsorption capacity. This advanced material is highly effective at removing harmful gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the air and it's also been clinically shown to capture and neutralize airborne viruses,* making it a critical layer of protection during cold and flu seasons, as well as viral outbreaks.

*According to a 2009 study by the U.K. Health Protection Agency, HEGA filtration was able to trap and deactivate viruses as small as 23–28 nanometers—significantly smaller than the size of the COVID-19 virus.

STAGE 1 – Large Particle Pre-filter. For removal of particles like hair, pet dander and dust that is visible. 

STAGE 2 – Medium Particle Pre-filter Removes small to medium size particles (e.g.molds, mildew, dust mites, spores and pollen)

STAGE 3, 4, 5 & 6 – About a 15 lb proprietary blend of Activated Carbon, Impregnated Carbon, Natural Zeolite and Impregnated Zeolite. For the most robust carbon filter Austin Air has to offer against VOC's, gases, fumes, chemicals, odors and smoke.

STAGE 7 – 60 sq. ft. of Certified Medical Grade HEPA Removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns

STAGE 8 – Military HEGA Carbon Cloth High Efficiency Gas Arrest to help rid the room of dangerous VOC, chemicals, gases and odors.

FILTER MAINTENANCE

• Vacuum outside of unit regularly with soft brush vacuum attachment
• Gently shake out pre filter periodically and change every 12-18 months
