The Airpura V414 Air Purifier is the same great features as the V400 unit, but with a SUPER HEPA for 99.99% down to .1 microns in particulate protection which is equivalent to a Merv 19/20 on the merv scale. 

This little yet powerful unit has both the activated carbon for heavy VOC absorption, chemical capture, fumes and odors but it also has the super hepa which is a step up in effectiveness for particulates such as dust (mites), mold (spores), pollen, hair, dander, viruses, bacteria, germs, pathogens and other allergens.
